K Mini Mondrians

I just LOVE hearing what the Kindergartners have to say about the artwork of Piet Mondrian.
"A maze"
"A bunch of scary train tracks that are about to explode"
"A map"
"A city"

Who knows?  I just love talking with them and exposing them to this art.  We talked about how he used the most important colors - primary colors, in his artwork.  The students created some super fun lines and then painted in the spaces (mostly!) with primary colors.  They did awesome!  And really remembered which colors to choose - great job!
