Raku firing class

This morning I made the lovely drive to Brenau University in Gainseville, Georgia.  I attended the first of two clay classes on raku firing.  This morning we learned about the process and then made some pieces.  In two weeks, I'll go back and raku fire the pieces.  Here's some pictures of today.
Natalie and I throwing.  She's a very patient teacher to help me on her day off!!
