4th grade Architecture Prints

The fourth graders are making some really neat prints.  We spent a day discussing modern architecture and looking at super cool buildings from all over the world.  The students designed their own unique building (or a combination of buildings) and then transferred their image to a printing plate.  Next, they printed the building on a painted sky and made a ghost print on the painted water to create the reflection.  Some early finishers got to really see the power of printmaking (creating multiples) by make 2, 3, 4, or even more extra prints!  We're not quite finished so stay tuned to see the final products!
