5th grade loom weaving

I love weaving and I really love this lesson.  The fifth graders warped their own cardboard loom and used their creative spirits to make these fantastic weavings.  They learned the tabby, basket weave, vertical stripe, Ghiorde's knot, soumak and dovetail stitches.  Some students even combined these stitches to create their own unique stitches.  Way to go, fifth graders!
