Wild about lines
I love this lesson because there's no "right" way the finished project should look like, it teaches the students the painting procedures for MY art class and they all want to paint asap! After a week of discussing and making lines, the students create lines with a black crayon. Then, we used old primary and neon tempera cakes (for possible "oooops" with not rinsing off their brush!) and they painting inside the spaces. I always love how they look and it is so cool to see how hard they are working to learn the procedures for art. Great job, little cuties!
